The Civil Air Patrol, US Air Force Auxiliary, really is "more than meets the skies," with three primary missions: Emergency Services, Cadet Programs, and Aerospace Education. CAP members include cadets (12-21 years old), and adult members (18+ years old). Members come from all walks of life, but most have an interest in serving the public, supporting the local communities, aviation, and/or helping our nation's youth become better citizens. Only about 10% of our members are actually pilots!
North Central Region Headquarters provides support for seven state CAP organizations, known as Wings, including North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri.
The purpose of this website is to:
- Inform the public about Civil Air Patrol
- Provide a communications point between the Wings and NCR HQ
- Provide Web Based support programs for the Missions of CAP
