70 Scouts Earn the Aviation Merit Badge

April 15, 2023

On this brisk and rainy spring day, North Hennepin Composite Squadron hosted over 70 Scouts for an Aviation Merit Badge day. NHS cadet and senior members instructed the scouts on various topics such as aircraft instruments, airport design, the principals of flight, aviation terminology, and pre-flight inspections.

We also had many guest speakers in the aviation industry talk to the scouts about future career opportunities.

A wonderful job was done by our members to host such a large and successful event!
