Another Successful National Legislative Day!
Members from across all wings of North Central Region were recently in Washington, DC, meeting with members of Congress and their staff during the annual CAP National Legislative Day events -- highlighting CAP activities and service in their states and thanking them for their continued support!
Iowa Wing members met with U.S. Senator Joni Ernst's staff members, and U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley's staff.
Kansas Wing members met with U.S. Senator Jerry Moran’s Defense Fellow Ben Huzzey and Legislative Correspondent Kaitlin Burgess, U.S. Representative Derek Schmidt.
Minnesota Wing members met with House Majority Whip U.S. Representative Tom Emmer.
Missouri Wing members met with U.S. Representative Wesley Bell, U.S. Representative Sam Graves, and U.S. Representative Robert Onder. Missouri Wing cadets placed a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.
Nebraska Wing members met with U.S. Senators Pete Ricketts and Deb Fischer, U.S. Representative Don Bacon, and ran into U.S, Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont while out and about in Washington, DC.
South Dakota Wing members met with Senate Majority Leader U.S. Senator John Thune.
