Iowa Wing Members Assess Tornado Damage

Iowa Wing aircrew conducted aerial surveys and photography over the communities of Greenfield, Red Oak, Corning, West Liberty, Alalissa, Alleman, Elkhart, and Nevada to assess the devastation caused by the May 21st tornadoes.

Our dedicated volunteers flew for over 25 hours and submitted over 1000 photos to support Iowa Homeland Security Emergency Management and FEMA in their efforts towards a rapid recovery of our community.
