Iowa Wing Members Tour Iowa Gold Star Military Museum

Members of Iowa Wing's Southwest Iowa Composite Squadron recently visited the Iowa Gold Star Military Museum in Johnston, Iowa, where they received a tour and got to use the F-16 simulator.

When asked what made the simulator so realistic, Cadet Ruby mentioned, "Where you started was actually in Des Moines!" Other cadets commented about how realistic the controls were to an F-16 but also that they are different from the planes they've used on their own CAP orientation flights.  They all said the simulator was a highlight of their trip.
