Iowa Wing Squadron Continues Scouting Assistance

Eighteen more Eastern Iowa scouts earned their Aviation Merit Badge on a recent Saturday afternoon, thanks to the efforts of Iowa Wing's Black Hawk County Composite Squadron members cadets Jacobson, Kodiaga, Nagel, and Schrader with Maj. Green, 1st Lts. Cook and Loes, and EAA Member Kristain Meyers assisting.

The four-hour session covered classroom theory, plus time on flight simulators, building gliders, navigating on aeronautical charts, and learning about airport facilities & airplane components. Thanks to all for supporting the squadron's community Aerospace Education mission!
