Iowa Wing Squadron Supports Community with Blood Drive

January 26, 2026

On January 19th, Iowa Wing's Black Hawk County Composite Squadron held their third Red Cross Blood Drive, and exceeded their 30 unit goal by three!

Thanks to Cadet Tech Sgt. Kodiaga for serving as the project officer, Cadet Senior Airman McCammon for assisting, and to their adult volunteers (Maj. Green, 1st Lt. Cook, 1st Lt. Engelhardt, and SM VerDught) for providing cadet supervision. The successful drive provides vital blood supplies to our Nation AND gives the squadron an equipment credit. Well done all!
