Iowa Wing Squadron Supports Local Boys and Girls Club

Bravo Zulu to Iowa Wing's Black Hawk County Composite Squadron's first Aerospace Education outreach event of Activity Year 2026 -- Thanksgiving Dinner with the Boys and Girls Club, light cleanup, and an hour-long Stomp Rocket construction & launch!

Maj. Rob Green, 1st Lt. Loes, 1st Lt. DeFord, and SM VerDught provided oversight while C/2nd Lt. DeFord , C/SrA. Kodiaga, Cadet Smith, and Prospective Cadet VerDught helped 25 kids build and launch their rockets. Thanks to all who volunteered for this important community STEM outreach event!
