Kansas Wing Cadet Solos

Join North Central Region in congratulating our newest solo pilot -- Cadet 2nd Lt. Aiden Fenton of Kansas Wing's New Century Composite Squadron!

Although the weather washed out his chase to fly the aircraft solo at the National Flight Academy, Cadet Fenton completed his solo flight this week at the New Century Airport in Kansas City. The weather was hot but the winds were calm for the event. Pictured with his instructor Capt. Overboe and the Cessna 172. Civil Air Patrol cadets have many different paths to work on a pilots certificate.
