Kansas Wing Search and Rescue Exercise
On November 6, 2021, members of the Topeka Eagle Composite Squadron and Kansas Wing participated in a Search and Rescue Exercise (SAREX) in St Marys, Kansas.
Events included analyzing a grass airfield for operations, preparing a helicopter landing zone, and a search for a 'missing aircraft' emergency beacon. Kansas Wing members also conducted sUAS (drone) operations on a parallel but separate mission.
