Minnesota Wing Cadet Earns Pilot License

Congratulations to Cadet Captain Thomas Botkin of Minnesota Wing's North Hennepin Composite Squadron on earning his Private Pilots License!

C/Capt. Botkin has been training with Capt. Greg Erickson and passed his checkride with DPE George Felix on Friday, February 10th, 2023 at the Crystal Airport.

Cadet Botkin received the AOPA and CAP Cadet Wings scholarships to fund his flying. He is currently the cadet commander at North Hennepin Composite Squadron and a junior at Maple Grove High School with hopes of becoming an U.S. Air Force pilot in the future.
