Minnesota Wing Member Recognized as CAP Innovator
Bravo Zulu to Minnesota Wing's Maj. Marybeth Slocumb, who participated as one of 12 Civil Air Patrol members and staff in the Air Force's Project Mercury innovation certification course created by Innovatrium — an innovation consulting firm tied to the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. This intensive 12-week program includes academic study, practical application of innovation concepts, and the opportunity to pitch an innovation to Air Force leadership.
As a result of her hard work and dedication, Slocumb has earned her Certified Innovator credential and was asked to serve as an innovation coach for new Project Mercury students. Her achievement highlights CAP’s commitment to fostering innovation and pushing the boundaries of excellence. Slocumb's role as an innovation coach will inspire and empower future Project Mercury students, including CAP members and national staff, to explore creative solutions that address evolving challenges.
