Missouri Wing Cadet Receives Aviation Scholarship

Congratulations to Cadet 2nd Lt. Michael Raus-Ocasio, from Missouri Wing's Harry S. Truman Composite Squadron, on being awarded the 2026 Aspire Aviation Scholarship contingent on him completing his private pilot single engine land knowledge test!

The scholarship is generously offered by Aspire Aviation and covers up to 60 hours of flight training towards a private pilot certificate with the recipient responsible for gas and instructor costs. This is the second scholarship that Aspire has offered to a CAP cadet.

Cadet Raus-Ocasio intends on attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for their pilot program and this is a big steppingstone towards his goal of flying in the Army.
