Missouri Wing Inaugural Senior Officer Academy

During Missouri Wing's recent inaugural Senior Officer Academy, Phase IV cadets were given the project of creating a weekend event.

Guest speakers included: Judge Brian Stumpe who spoke on being a humble and non-partisan leader; and Josh Korte, owner of Korte Tree Service, who spoke on attention to detail and personal excellence.

These cadet officers worked together to develop and plan a new wing level weekend activity for cadets. When our Phase IV cadets participate in Wing activities they are usually tasked with the development of others. SOA is an opportunity to focus on completing a task while developing themselves.

Participants presented their final Operations Plan to the Missouri Wing Commander, Col. Jennifer Smith who approved the project as an official Missouri Wing Cadet Activity -- the first "Missouri Wing Ultimate Cadet Challenge" will take place next Spring.
