Missouri Wing Member Recognized for 50 Years of Service

North Central Region and Missouri Wing are thankful during this holiday season for our volunteer members who work hard to support each other and their communities!

Members like Maj. James E. "Ed" Main of Missouri Wing's St Louis Composite Squadron who was recently honored with 50 years of service to Civil Air Patrol at this month's squadron promotion and awards night.

Maj. Main is an active member of the squadron helping the cadets with customs and courtesies, ensuring safety protocols are followed and trained, and you may even have seen him parking your car with the cadets at the annual Pumpkin Drop Event at St Charles Regional Airport this last October.

He's most proud of his two search and rescue "Finds" he has been awarded, one with an air crew and one with a ground team. His contributions over his 50 years are countless and we look forward to what he brings forth in the future.
