Missouri Wing Members Cross Train with Water Rescue Units
24 Missouri Wing members participated in a Group II inter-agency missing person search and rescue training exercise on Saturday, March 4th, around Lac Capri in Terre Du Lac, MO. Additional training also occurred at Bonne Terre Airport in Bonne Terre, MO.
The day's activities involved:
• Two aircrew from Gateway Senior Squadron coordinating with teams on the ground.
• Two sUAS (drone) teams searching along the wooded banks and shores of Lac Capri.
• A ground team from Trail of Tears Composite Squadron.
• And coordination with Terre Du Lac, Irondale, and Leadwood Fire Departments – including their water rescue units.
A great training event by all involved, on a beautiful Spring-like day!
