Missouri Wing Squadron Aerospace Education Night
Cadets from Missouri Wing's Platte Valley Composite Squadron completed a trio of aerospace education activities on May 18, 2026.
Lower ranks learned roll, pitch and yaw with the classic paper airplane with Cadet 2nd Lt. Mayer.
Upper ranks designed and built their own catapult foam glider with Cadet 2nd Lt. Noon.
All cadets took a turn on drones with Cadet Maj. O'Connell and the objective of following the tape line and landing in the designated area. Lt. Col. McMahan added an element of air turbulence with a small fan in the more advanced lane.
