Mo. Wing Squadron Rocks Weather Station STEM Kit!

Missouri Wing's Lake Ozark Regional Composite Squadron participated in an Acu-Rite Professional Weather Station STEM Kit today! They ran several weather-related experiments after setting up their Acu-Rite Professional Weather Station STEM Kit. They also collected data from the Acu-Rite Professional Weather Station at two different locations, one at their meeting location and one down by the Lake of the Ozarks to see how the water would affect their readings/data.

For their first experiment they demonstrated air pressure by drawing a balloon into a mason jar with air pressure alone.

In their second experiment they created clouds inside 2-liter bottles.

Ending their day with a hike, they did a weather scavenger hunt using observational skills to discover how weather had impacted the surrounding environment.
