MO Wing's Miller Recognized as Top Family Doctor in Missouri
Missouri Wing's Medical Officer, Lt Col (Dr.) David A. Miller, was recognized as the 2021 Missouri Family Physician of the Year by the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians during their annual Fall Conference at Big Cedar Lodge near Branson, Missouri, November 12-13.
A practicing physician for more than 30 years in the greater St. Louis area, Dr. Miller's career has included solo practice, group practice, urgent care medicine, service to multiple organizations and boards, and teaching medical students and residents.
A master rated health services officer, Lt Col Miller has served as the Missouri Wing medical officer since 2007 and advises the wing's command staff on health issues, oversees the promotion and advancement of wing HSO's, serves on the wing's COVID remobilization plan team, and has served as the medical officer for multiple Missouri Wing encampments.
