North Central Region Members and Units Support Veteran's Day

Iowa Wing's Black Hawk Composite Squadron Color Guard presented the colors and assisted with a flag folding ceremony at the Veterans Day ceremony held at the Newaldaya Lifescapes facility in Cedar Falls, IA.

Minnesota Wing's St. Croix Composite Squadron Color Guard presenting the colors for the Veterans Day event at Rutherford Elementary in Stillwater, MN. 

Minnesota Wing's Viking Composite Squadron Color Guard posted the colors for the Veterans Day celebration concert at Covenant Living of Golden Valley, MN. The color guard then trained a "color guard" of four veterans in attendance who retrieved the colors at the end of the program.

Five cadets from Missouri Wing's Excelsior Springs Composite Squadron placed flags on Veterans graves at three cemeteries for the Excelsior Springs Elks Lodge.

Missouri Wing's Platte Valley Composite Squadron Color Guard participated in the Park Hill High School's Veterans Day Ceremony in Kansas City, MO; and spent time with guest speaker Lt. Gen. Milton H. Beagle, Jr., Commanding General, U.S. Army Combined Arms Center and Fort Leavenworth, KS, and Commandant, U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.

Missouri Wing Group I commander, Lt. Col. Aric Raus, was the guest speaker at the Platte County High School 10th Annual Veterans Day Ceremony where he also provided the Oath of Enlistment to Missouri Wing Cadet Toni DeBiaso.

Members of Missouri Wing's Springfield Regional Composite Squadron participated in the Willard High School Veterans Parade in Willard, MO.

A combined inter-wing contingent of cadets from Kansas Wing's Heartland Cadet Squadron and from Missouri Wing's Lee's Summit Composite Squadron, Platte Valley Composite Squadron, and Harry S. Truman Composite Squadron participated in the Veteran's Day parade in Independence, MO.

Missouri Wing's1st. Lt. Gerald "BJ" Lange was named the Los Angeles City Council District 4 Veteran of the Year!

Members of Missouri Wing's Table Rock Lake Composite Squadron participated in the Branson Veterans Day Parade while their color guard also presented the colors at SEVEN different events - including Freedom Encounter Theater, The Wall of Honor, Branson Veterans Garden, and Hollister Schools!

Cadet Chief Master Sergeant Arp, of South Dakota Wing's Crazy Horse Composite Squadron, assisted in recognizing four veterans from Custer High School staff, Custer, SD.

South Dakota Wing's Lincoln County Composite Squadron's Color Guard posted and retired the colors at the Benediction, ground breaking and Veteran's Day Ceremony at the new Veteran's Park in Crooks, SD. 

Members of South Dakota Wing's Lincoln County Composite Squadron -- as part of the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance -- greeted, opened doors and handed out programs to Veteran's and their families at the annual Veteran's Day Ceremony in Sioux Falls, SD.

South Dakota Wing's Big Sioux Composite Squadron's Color Guard team participated in two events to honor our veterans: the team posted and retired the colors for the VFW's Veteran’s Day program at the United Living Center in Brookings, and subsequently presented the colors during the National Anthem at the opening ceremonies for the 2023 Taekwondo Fall Classic held at the Mickelson Middle School.
