North Central Region Supports Wreaths Across America Day
Members and units from across all seven states of North Central Region participated in the annual Wreaths Across America Day on Saturday, December 14, 2024, recognizing the service and sacrifices of veterans and their families. Bravo Zulu to our members for again participating in this worthy annual event!
This year, three million service members were honored at 4,909 participating locations nationwide with the help of 7,566 sponsorship groups. Of these, 784 are new locations this year, with 353 ceremony-only locations and 4,556 locations placing sponsored wreaths. At Arlington National Cemetery, where this all began, more than 260,000 veterans’ wreaths were placed by 32,000 volunteers!
Iowa Wing

Minnesota Wing
Multiple Minnesota Wing units participated in laying wreaths at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
Minnesota Wing’s North Hennepin Composite Squadron participated in laying wreaths at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.

Missouri Wing
Missouri Wing’s Wentzville Composite Squadron and St. Louis Flight overcame much adversity to lay wreaths at the Wright City Cemetery, Wright City, MO, on a cold, blustery, and rainy day – their flyover, gun salute, and local high school band playing the National Anthem were all cancelled. They even had to push a stuck car out of the mud. But they accomplished the mission!
