North Central Region Units Participate in AFA StellarXplorers Contest

This year's Air & Space Force Association's StellarXplorers National Space Design competition is underway and units across North Central Region are again participating! Here Minnesota Wing's Skyhawk Composite Squadron cadets are working hard on their design.

The StellarXplorers Space STEM Program, created by the Air & Space Forces Association (AFA), inspires high school and middle school students toward careers in space, aviation, and other science, technology, engineering, and math disciplines critical to our nation’s future.

The StellarXplorers National Space Design Competition is a fun space system design competition that challenges teams of students to solve orbit planning, satellite component, and launch operation scenarios in a series of online rounds.

And the StellarXplorers program announced that 375 teams have registered for this year's 11th season of its National Space Design Competition, a record-shattering number of teams and a 25 percent increase over the 2023-2024 competition year.
