Passing of Long-Serving Missouri Wing Member

In Memoriam: Lt. Col. Klaus Mueller

North Central Region and Missouri Wing is saddened to learn of the passing of Lt. Col. Klaus Mueller.

A long-time member of Missouri Wing's Trail of Tears Composite Squadron, where he served as aerospace education officer, communications officer, and emergency services officer, Lt. Col. Mueller had transferred last year to MOWG's Lee’s Summit Composite Squadron where he was serving as their communications officer at the time of his death.

A recipient of the Gill Robb Wilson Award for completing all levels of CAP’s professional development program, Lt. Col. Mueller served previously as Missouri Wing’s aerospace education officer for several years.
