The course is administered by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center. Specific topic areas covered include: SAR network overview, AFRCC overview and mission, resources and mission types, radar and cell phone forensics, beacons, FAA, mission operations to include search theory, family interactions, and media. The course culminates with a scenario-based tabletop exercise.
