Successful South Dakota Communications Exercise

Members of three South Dakota squadrons along Interstate highway 29 (I-29), and wing staff members at multiple operating locations, met on the air for a communication exercise yesterday, 11 December 2021.

Because of the recent snow, members stayed home, but it was a good simulation of using radios after a major blizzard.

Members tested the ability of various radios to reach certain repeaters and members became more comfortable with the capabilities of their radio communication system. It was a learning experience for all.
