South Dakota Wing, Civil Air Patrol, flew an airborne photography mission for the South Dakota Air National Guard's 114th Fighter Wing on Thursday, May 12. The aircrew photographed the scene where an F-16 assigned to the South Dakota Air National Guard’s 114th Fighter Wing went off the end of a runway.
Rushmore Composite Squadron received 30 large boxes of cold-weather gear from Ellsworth AFB recently and is providing some of them to other units in three states.
A group of Lincoln County Composite Squadron cadets, senior members and family members gathered at Kids Against Hunger earlier this month to bag meals for those in need. After a brief set of instructions, they put together enough meals to feed 1944 people. It was a fun and very rewarding experience.
